The hotel itself, a 15th cent castle

A/C not on and had to leave windows open. Mosquitoes came in and bit all 3 of us. Also, interior room and pigeons slept outside of our windows and flew around a lot. The location was good, but did have to go a short ways to park the car.

The hotel is an old convent set in the old city, very convenient. The entrance hall is quite atmospheric. The staff were very friendly.

The room was small and a bit pokey given the price.

The location was perfect. Easy to walk all through the town. Lots of restaurants and shops.

Room did not have any view. Maybe it's what I bought and didn't know where it was located. Dark and too warm. Bath/shower arrangement was very inconvenient. Shower heat pulled out of the side of the tub, no shower curtain, therefore water got all over the room. Suggest they take the tub out and just have a real shower.

The lobby is beautiful -- the hotel is a former convent. The hotel is very centrally located, but also quiet, with soundproofed windows (which open) that are excellent, and exterior working shutters as well as blackout-lined full curtains. Our room was much more spacious and comfortable than I had expected for the price, and the bathroom was positively luxurious. The hotel staff was always polite and friendly.

I loved it, but others might be surprised by the tiny elevator (the size of a personal residential elevator, 2 people with luggage, max.). The stairs are steep and winding -- not suitable for anyone with difficulty walking or climbing stairs, although they may add to the charming atmosphere for others.

Nice view (church bell tower) from room located on 3rd floor, impressive entrance hall, central location, simple, but good breakfast (à 10 EUR)

Wonderful reception room in an 13th century chapel. Very central. Nice people welcoming you. Free internet access in the room.

We got the two room on the first floor with doors directly to the big receptionroom. That ment much noice from people passing by (everyone had to!) and talking downstairs!

No screen on the bathtub, difficult to keep water from going all over the bathroom

Interior foyer of hotel is very attractive with its lovely natural stone wall. Staff were very friendly, room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also very nice and in a nice room.

Room faced onto side street that was noisy at night due to its central location, but was fine when I closed window.

Location is excellent and the staff are very helpful and polite. Not to mention the beautiful interior of this 800 yr old building.

The location was perfect. Right in the heart of the old city but easy to find. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable and large enough.

There was some street noise but that is to be expected when you are staying in the heart of the city.

The rooms are very small. I forgot to mention that we wanted two separate beds and found ourselves in a small room with one large bed. On complaining, we were given an huge room with two big beds and a bathroom the size of the previous room! The breakfast is French old-style, i.e. crossants and bread and is a little heavy, but perhaps fits the mood of this ancient dwelling.

Location is great. Reception staff are very helpful. Rooms are well decorated. Building is old and interesting.

Exceptionally noisy at night if you have a bedroom on the front of the hotel. Breakfast is not worth 10 euros, coffee awful, bread, croissant poor quality.

Hotel Augustins is in a very ancient building, old church perhaps? Very nicely and with charm made a hotel of it. Everything well working well.

The elevator was too small and did not function well... the cleanliness of the room could have been better, but the beds were clean and good.
